Learn from world-leader in antibody engineering and participate in hands-on workshop on phage display biopanning and antibody expression in E. coli

The aim of this workshop is to give an up-to-date information on certain aspects of antibody and affinity scaffold engineering to members of ASEAN community and world-wide scientists. Participants who participate in a hands-on workshop will have an opportunity to affinity select (biopanning) scFv antibody against their target of interest or learn how to express their favorite antibody in more effective E. coli expression system. Poster presentations as well as scientific discussion among participants in a relaxed, informal atmosphere will allow the establishment of networking within the ASEAN communities, that could expand to word-wide collaboration in the future.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own targets for biopanning  (1 target/registration), or recombinant antibody (1 gene/registration) for E. coli expression.  It is also possible to enroll only the lecture session.

Participants are also encouraged to submit their work to be considered for poster presentation, which will stimulate more networking among participants.  If accepted for poster presentation, the presenter will have a chance to recieve a presentation award.
